Agreement
These terms apply to the use of this website and to painting services provided by Gold Standard Painters in Gulf Shores, AL and the surrounding Gulf Coast. Using this site or booking work with us means you accept these terms.
Estimates & Scope
Quotes are free and based on the scope described at the time of the estimate. Changes in scope, hidden damage, rot, or extra prep discovered after work begins may require a revised price, which we will confirm with you before proceeding.
Payment Terms
Our standard structure is 50% due up front to reserve your date and cover materials, and the remaining 50% due upon completion of the work. Invoices may be paid online through this site. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel before work begins; the deposit is refundable less any materials already purchased and non-recoverable costs. Once work has started, deposits cover labor and materials already committed and are non-refundable. If we cannot complete the job, you are only charged for work performed.
Scheduling & Weather
Exterior work depends on weather and coastal conditions. We may reschedule to protect the quality of the finish; we will keep you informed of any changes.
Customer Responsibilities
Please provide safe access to the work area, secure pets, and move or protect fragile and valuable items. We take care to protect surfaces, but we ask that valuables be removed from work areas ahead of time.
Workmanship
We stand behind our work. If a defect in our workmanship appears, contact us and we will inspect and correct it. This does not cover normal wear, damage caused by others, structural movement, moisture intrusion, or failures of previously applied coatings.
Photos
We may photograph completed work for our portfolio. Let us know if you prefer we do not use photos of your property.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.
